Terms · last updated 27 October 2026
Terms of service, in plain English.
These terms are between you (the person or company who signs up) and Life Vitamin Co. LLC, which runs Keep Your Chain. By creating an account or paying, you agree to them.
1. The service
Keep Your Chain is software for running cold email outreach from your own mailboxes: sequences that follow up in the same email chain, an inbox, domain health tools and related features. We may improve and change features; we won't remove the core of what your plan includes during a period you have paid for.
2. Plans, payment and renewal
- Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe. A card is required to start a paid plan; there is no free trial of sending. The free sandbox (sample data, from which nothing is sent) needs no card, and choosing a plan in it turns it into your paid workspace.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Prices exclude taxes, which are added where they apply.
- Each plan includes a number of people and sending mailboxes. You can move up at any time (prorated); a move down takes effect when it fits your plan's limits.
- Launch prices are locked for your first year. After that we may change prices with at least 30 days' email notice before your next renewal.
3. 30-day money-back guarantee
If you're not happy, email hello@keepyourchain.com within 30 days of your first payment and we will refund that payment in full and close your subscription. After 30 days, payments are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
4. Cancelling
Cancel any time under Settings → Plan & billing. When a subscription ends, nothing sends from your workspace; you can still sign in and export your data for 30 days, after which we may delete it.
5. Sending rules (acceptable use)
You are the sender of every email that goes out from your workspace, and you are responsible for it. You agree to:
- Follow the laws that apply to your email, including CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada) and the GDPR/UK GDPR and PECR (EU/UK): a real postal address in every email, an honest subject line and sender, and a working way to opt out, honored promptly. The product adds the address and the opt-out line for you; don't remove them.
- Only email people you have a lawful basis to contact, about something relevant to their work, and never anyone who has asked you to stop.
- Use only domains and mailboxes you own or are authorized to use, and follow Microsoft's (or your mail provider's) terms.
- Not use purchased or scraped lists of personal addresses, not send anything misleading, harassing, illegal or malicious, and not try to get around the product's daily limits, ramp or suppression list.
- Not resell the service, probe or overload it, or access other customers' data.
We may suspend sending from a workspace that breaks these rules or puts our service or other customers at risk, and we will tell you why. Repeated or serious abuse ends the account without a refund.
6. Your data
You own your data: your prospects, sequences, threads and settings. You can export it as CSV any time. We process it only to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum, which form part of these terms.
7. AI-drafted replies and the Claude connector
Suggested replies are drafts written by an AI model. They can be wrong. Nothing a draft says is sent until a person on your team sends it. If you connect Claude or another assistant, it acts as you inside your workspace, and you are responsible for what you ask it to do.
8. Third-party services
The product works with services you sign up for yourself (Microsoft 365, and optionally verification, warmup, contact-finding and AI providers). Your use of them is under their terms, and we are not responsible for their availability, pricing or actions.
9. Deliverability
We build the product to keep you in the inbox, but email providers decide where mail lands. We don't guarantee delivery, inbox placement, replies or results.
10. Warranties and liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Neither of us is liable to the other for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before it arose. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Life Vitamin Co. LLC against third-party claims arising from the email you send or the data you bring into the service.
12. Changes and law
We may update these terms; for changes that matter we will email account owners at least 30 days before they apply. California law governs these terms, and disputes go to the state or federal courts in Los Angeles County, California.
